AT DMK, WE THINK A 5-10% CHANCE JUST SIMPLY ISN'T GOOD ENOUGH ...
A child whose family income is between $35,000 and $61,000 has only a 10% chance of earning a college degree. And it's even lower for children whose families have incomes of less than $35,000. They have only a 5% chance of getting a degree.
At the Daniel M. Kerrane, Jr. Foundation (DMK) we think those statistics just aren't good enough, so we are working to change them by providing educational opportunities to Chicago area teens and young adults. Specifically we've created a scholarship and mentoring program that targets students who demonstrate financial need and who may be academically under prepared but who are motivated to succeed. Our scholarship program gives students the chance to excel. We welcome you to learn more about our program, how you can help or to apply for a scholarship.
