Outreach Efforts
The Daniel M. Kerrane, Jr. Foundation aspires to be a positive force in the Chicago community by expanding opportunities for Chicago area students.
We hope to achieve this by cultivating a strong association with the City Colleges of Chicago (CCC), a growing relationship with the Chicago Public Schools, and a continuing partnership with other social service organizations. Our outreach efforts include:
- Distribution of literature about our program to high school guidance counselors and CCC advisors
- Direct presentations at high schools and children's charities
- Participation in scholarship fairs
- FAFSA filing help sessions for students
- A growing presence on CCC campuses
- Outreach to the mentors through individuals and corporations
For more literature describing our program, to request a presentation by one of our staff at your school or organization, or any other outreach inquiries please contact the DMK office at 312.920.9605.
